Gabun Flow · Build sheet

Privacy Policy

Gabun Flow keeps your custom burgers, saved combinations and order history on your own device. Nothing you build is sent to us.

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the Gabun Flow mobile application (the "App") handles information. The App is published by Matthew Reed (“we”, “us”). It applies to the App only; it does not cover the restaurant you eat at, its menu, its staff or any ordering system the restaurant may run.

Gabun Flow is a personal notebook for regulars: you build a burger layer by layer, save the combinations you like, load them onto the bench, record a finished order and look back through your history. It is not connected to the restaurant’s kitchen and does not place orders on your behalf.

Patty · what the app stores

Information stored on your device

Everything the App keeps is created by you, inside the App, and is written to local storage on your phone or tablet:

  • Builds – the buns, patties, toppings and extras you pick for each burger, and the names you give them.
  • Saved combinations – favourites you choose to keep for later.
  • Bench state – burgers currently being assembled, so you can pick up where you left off.
  • Order records – the summary you confirm when you register an order, with a timestamp.
  • Statistics – personal consumption figures (for example how often you choose a given patty), calculated from your own records on the device.
  • Preferences – simple settings such as display options.

None of this is transmitted to us. We have no way to see it, and we do not hold a copy.

Cheese · what we do not collect

Information we do not collect

The App does not ask you to create an account and does not request your name, email address, phone number, payment details or location. It does not contain analytics, crash-reporting or advertising libraries, and it does not use device identifiers to profile you.

The App does not require internet access to work. If a future version ever adds an online feature, it will be optional, described in the App, and reflected in an updated version of this policy before it is used.

Lettuce · the platform around the app

App stores, backups and your operating system

Some processing happens outside the App and outside our control:

  • App store. Apple or Google process your download, updates and any reviews you write under their own privacy terms. We may see aggregated download counts but nothing that identifies you.
  • Device backups. If you have iCloud Backup, Google backup or a similar service switched on, the App’s local data may be included in that backup. Those services are governed by the platform’s policy, and you can exclude the App or turn backups off in your device settings.
  • Operating-system diagnostics. Your device may send crash reports to Apple or Google if you have opted in. These are not delivered to us with personal information.

Sauce · your control

Editing and deleting your data

Because the data lives only on your device, you are always in control:

  • Open any saved combination or order record and edit it, repeat it on the bench, or delete it.
  • Delete individual records from the history at any time.
  • Uninstalling the App removes all of its local data from the device (a copy may remain in a device backup until that backup is replaced or deleted).

Since we hold no copy of your data, we cannot restore records you delete, and there is no data for us to export, correct or erase on request. If you have a question about this, you are welcome to write to us anyway.

Pickles · children

Children’s privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Onions · security

Security

Your records are stored in the App’s private storage area, which other apps cannot read on a normally configured device. The strongest protection you can add is the device lock screen and the encryption your operating system provides. The App does not add its own password, so anyone who can unlock your device can open it.

Top bun · changes and contact

Changes to this policy and how to reach us

If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the App’s release notes. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
